WATCH These Powerhouses SHRED TRUMP Over His Disgusting ‘S***HOLE COUNTRIES’ Comments! [VIDEO]

CNN political commentator and frequent Trump critic Ana Navarro attacked President Trump on Thursday over his reported remark calling Haiti and some African nations “shithole countries” during a meeting with lawmakers.

Navarro, a former aide to Florida Gov. Jeb Bush (R), accused Trump of turning the Oval Office into a “shithole,” decrying his administration’s “morally bankrupt” position on immigration:

It tells you just how shamelessly racist he is. This is not something he’s saying in the dark of night. This is not something that he’s thinking in his head.

Let me tell you, you know why he doesn’t like the visa lottery? Because it’s the way Africans come here. You know why he doesn’t like TPS, temporary protected status? Because right now it covers Haitians, it covers Salvadorans. You know what Haitians and Salvadorans have in common? They are in completely different parts of the world…[but] they are black. They are black.

Donald Trump has shown us his dark heart, has shown us his racism. I am as desperate as anyone for there to be a [DACA] deal, for there to be a deal on Dreamers. But we cannot normalize the fact that Donald Trump has turned the Oval Office into a shithole—into a morally bankrupt place where there are lies and division and racism that comes out every single day.

CNN’s Don Lemon opened Thursday’s CNN Tonight by saying,

The president of the United States is racist. Those comments are frankly disgusting. They’re not shocking, not even really surprising, because this is who Donald Trump is—this is what he thinks.

Then Lemon addressed Trump supporters who, he says, blindly support the president’s oppressive, bigoted, and even racist views and make excuses for his conduct:

This is for anyone who may be taken aback by my comments: I don’t really care if you are. I hope you are. For years, I and others have been trying to tell you, the American people, that this man has been exhibiting bigoted behavior. I’ve asked him about it a number of times and he denied, but kept up the racist rhetoric throughout the campaign and now while he’s in the White House.

His supporters made excuses, continue to make excuses for him. Some of them are his friends, and I can hear them now, telling me: “Donald didn’t mean that,” “Donald isn’t a racist,” “I think it was taken out of context…” How many examples do you need of this? He is a racist.

All of you who over the last few years have uttered that tired, lazy, uninformed, uneducated response of calling me and others who point out racist behavior “racists,” you know what you can go do? I can’t say that. But you can go read a history book. Because you might learn that people from some of those “shithole countries” were slaves who were brought by force to help build this country.

Lemon said Trump supporters should undergo some “self-examination” and questioned “what it says about you that you continue to make excuses for this man, no matter what. Doesn’t that make you just as bad?”

On CNN’s Cuomo Prime Time, Chris Cuomo recalled his own immigrant roots, saying he himself remained “profoundly connected” to his roots, as a second-generation American.

We do come from the hard-hit places. The shitholes, as our president likes to say.

Cuomo said his own grandparents came from a country—Italy—that was once considered a “shithole” by people like the president:

Our unity is forged in opportunity—it is laced with dreams of a better life for our families….America’s greatest strength is, and has always been, its diversity.

What do YOU think?
